Helping Hands: An Award Winning Organization
The success of the Helping Hands program was recognized by KAET Television Channel Eight at the “Be More Awards” luncheon at the Camelback Inn. The inaugural event honored the outstanding achievement of Arizona’s top non-profit organizations. Helping Hands won the “Judges Choice” award for the non-profit that demonstrates “original and extraordinary effort….” This was a distinguished award as the programs of 110 nonprofits were considered.
 In January, 2008, Helping Hands received the “Blue Ribbon Organization” award from the Collaboration for a New Century. As a Blue Ribbon Organization, Helping Hands received special project assistance from an advisory team consisting of professionals from the local business and academic community.
 In July, 2008 Helping Hands was selected to showcase three of our clients for a day of pampering and family photos, and interviews by Raising Arizona Kids Magazine
In May, 2007, Helping Hands for Single Moms was named the KPNX TV “12 Who Care” Charity of the Month, Sponsored by BedSmart
